Honda 2 wheelers exhibiting a wide range of models in Auto Expo 2018


The very first day of the biggest automobile event, Auto Expo 2018 held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. And as it was supposed to be the brands are coming with their various products to showcase, talking about Honda 2 wheelers, Honda this year unveils 11 new models this year on Auto Expo 2018.
And, as the rest of the brands are coming with concepts showcasing, Honda is also giving a presentation on the concepts – The PCX Electric Concept for the very first time in India, Marc Marquez’s 2017 Moto GP winner RC213V defines the best about Honda’s engineering and The Race Machine CBR 250R.

On the premises of revealing the models line- up for this year and further, Mr. Takahiro Hachigo, President, CEO & Representative Director, Honda Motor Co., Ltd., Japan, said“India being the largest motorcycle market for Honda now contributes almost one-third of Honda’s global motorcycle sales. Global Honda will continue to provide full support to our Indian motorcycle operations. By providing more advanced models with segment leading features, we will create higher value at a reasonable price and transform customer expectations into reality. As for our global, big “Fun bikes” which feature those advanced technologies, we will bring them to the Indian market much faster, better aligned to the global launch timing. This will help meet the more diverse customer needs in India.”

 Speaking about Honda product roadmap, Mr Minoru Kato, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., said,

“Gaining maximum market share, Honda is set to cross 6 Million sales target this fiscal year. Our 3 brand new models of 2017-18 – CLIQ, Africa Twin and GRAZIA are already well received in the Indian market. I am confident that India will experience street riding like never before on our 4th brand new offering X-Blade with leading segment first features. 2018 will be an exciting year for the two-wheeler industry and Honda is all set to transform the way India rides in future.”

 

The lime light of the day was Brand New 160cc Stylish motorcycle, named X-Blade. The bike is available in 5 new color options: – Matte Marvel Blue Metallic/Matte Frozen Silver Metallic/Pearl Spartan Red/Pearl Igneous Black and Matte Marshal Green Metallic.  The bike is powered with 162.71cc HET engine, the X-Blade is the perfect example of the combination including sportiness and practicality. The stylish all new X- Blade is inspired by futuristic LED headlight- a segment first feature, comes with unique split grab rails, all new stylish alloy wheels, hugger fender and muscular illustration.
The bike price will be declare by late March 2018.

Rather than this, the other products are NEW ACTIVA 5G, 2018 EDITION of LIVO, CB SHINE SP 2018 EDITION, CB HORNET 160r 2018 EDITION, CBR 250R 2018 EDITION, CBR 650F 2018 EDITION, CBR 1000RR & CBR 1000RR SP & 2018 EDITION OF GOLD WING.

Honda’s Global showcase models – PCX EV and RC213V:

Displaying Honda’s initiative in the EV field is Honda’s latest PCX EV concept. The electric scooter is equipped with a high output motor developed independently by Honda. Aiming to emerge as a more harmonious mobility option PCX EV is fitted with removable lithium ion based Honda Mobile Power Pack which can be charged separately or inside the scooter.

Get ready to witness the pinnacle of Honda engineering first-hand as RC213V – Honda’s 2017 MotoGP winning bike ridden by World Champion Marc Marquez makes its first appearance.

Walk down the memory lane in Activa Legacy Zone and see the transformation of Activa – India’s most loved two-wheeler in the last 17 years.

Committed to spread road safety awareness in India, Honda has an exclusive outdoor Safe Riding Zone. For kids, there are the road safety contests and practical learning session on the special CRF 50 children bike. Honda’s proprietary Riding Trainer is initiating new riders on road safety with its fresh interface. For women, Honda has the exclusive Female Safety Riding training sessions helmed by female instructors.

Honda pavilion will be the centres of attention for youth as Honda’s brand ambassadors – Taapsee Pannu and Akshay Kumar are set to visit in the weekend (10 – 11 February).
