Hero Extreme 200 R

As the biggest motorcycle event is going to happen in next few days, Hero is welcoming the new year with all good news for the motorcycle enthusiast. Today, On 30^th Jan, 2018 Hero demonstrates one of the most awaited commuter bike for the fans, named as Hero Extreme 200R.

The all new bike is been designed and developed under the Hero Moto Corp’s in house R & D team, based at the Hero Centre of Innovation and Technology in Jaipur.

Expressing an opinion for the new motorcycle – Markus Braunsperger, Chief Technology Officer, Hero MotoCorp said, “The all new Xtreme 200R is reflective of our product development capabilities and also demonstrates the strenuous R&D efforts that are underway at the Hero Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT). The new Extreme 200R is the perfect amalgamation of performance, advance technology and masculine attributes. We also have a strong pipeline of new products for the rest of the year.”

Hero MotoCorp is persistently ruling the the motorcycle market in the commuter segment, now the brand is ready to initiate in the premium segment with higher – powered motorcycles.

When we look on the all new Hero Extreme 200R, the bike is align with all new BS-IV compliant 200 cc engine, can produce maximum power of 18.4 PS @8000 rpm with maximum torque of 17.1 NM @ 6500 rpm. The bike can reach maximum to the speed of 114 km/h. The engine also features additional balancers to ensure smooth power delivery by cutting first order vibrations. Comes with the 5 – Speed transmission.

The bike comes with muscular stance and aggressive styling, sporty headlight, LED pilot lamps and LED Tail with guide lights, all new sporty digi – analogue information cluster and attractive dual- tone graphics added.
