India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt Ltd. has announced the opening of its new dealership in Calicut district of Kerala. With the opening of Royal Motors at 346/B, UAQ Square Barax Junction, Westhill in Kerala, Yamaha will now have a total of 39 dealerships in Kerala that will offer all its models available in the domestic market, an exclusive arena for sales, services and spare parts support. Spread across 6000 sq. feet, these dealerships will focus on the regional markets to ensure promotion and publicity of exciting range of two wheelers from Yamaha, servicing support and spare parts availability, which in turn will further augment sales for Kerala market.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Roy Kurian, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd. said, “Kerala is a significant market for Yamaha contributing around 14% to the scooter segment and 18% for deluxe segment. A robust market at the back drop of the recent brand campaign launch “The Call of the Blue” exceedingly attest to Yamaha’s commitment in delivering intense excitement and satisfaction. A new dealership will further augment the growth through technologically advanced Yamaha products that carry exciting, stylish and sporty features.”

Yamaha’s recent launch of the much-awaited YZF-R15 Version 3.0 and the ABS technology enabled YZF-R3 in India at Rs. 128,505 and Rs. 350,505 respectively (Ex showroom Kerala) will further boost its share in the premium and sports segments.

Yamaha also launched the YZF-R15 Version 3.0 Moto GP edition and FZS-FI with rear disc brakes in new colours during its latest brand campaign launch ‘The Call of the Blue’. The campaign is an attempt to reach out to Yamaha’s customers in order to provide a wholesome experience through multiple activities. The aim is to intensively involve Yamaha fans of India with the brand’s core identity- exciting, stylish and sporty.
