Ducati India today announced the arrival of special edition 959 Panigale Corse at a price tag of INR 15.20 lakh (ex-showroom) India.
Ducati fans across India have a reason to rejoice as the Italian automaker today announced the introduction of special edition 959 Panigale Corse in India. Priced at INR 15.20 lakh (ex-showroom India), special edition Ducati 959 Panigale Corse features a dedicated colour scheme inspired from MotoGP.
Taking about the launch, Sergi Canovas, Managing Director of Ducati India Pvt. Ltd. said, “The Panigale has always been the definite Ducati superbike that allows biking enthusiasts to have an unparalleled experience on a race track. The 959 Panigale embodies absolute excellence through the advanced electronics package that inspires confidence and allows riders to explore the limit. In this special Corse livery, the 959 looks much more special and unique as the paint scheme is inspired by the colours of our MotoGP bike, the Desmosedici GP 18.”
Apart from the sporty decals, the 959 Panigale Corse comes fitted with a 955 cc Superquadro engine that is Euro 4 type-approved. This engine produces a power output of 157 bhp with 107.4 Nm of torque. For an out right performance, the 959 Panigale Corse is equipped with a state of the art electronics package that includes the latest generation two channel Bosch ABS 9MP, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Quick Shift (DQS), Engine Brake Control (EBC) and Ride-by-Wire (RbW). There is also Ducati Riding Modes that allows the rider to chose from either one of the modes namely Race, Sport and Wet. According to Ducati India, special edition 959 Panigale Corse will not feature Ohlins suspensions, lithium battery, Ohlins steering damper and Ducati Performance titanium silencers by Akrapovic which otherwise can be found on the European spec version.
The 959 Panigale Corse features Ducati Corse livery with black wheels. Those interested can now book the bike at any of the Ducati Dealerships in Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata and Chennai. Ducati 959 Panigale Corse will also be showcased during DRE Track Days scheduled to be held on the 13th and the 14th of October 2018.
